Op zaterdag 11 februari vond één van de grootste Hardstyle evenementen van het jaar plaats in het Gelredome te Arnhem: het toonaangevende event Hard Bass. Organisator b2s heeft de bezoekers negen uur lang overdonderd met de sound van vier zorgvuldig samengetelde teams, die de kleuren Yellow, Red, Green en Blue dragen. Niemand minder dan The Pitcher, Luna, Frontliner en Chris One zijn dit jaar uitverkoren om hun team te vertegenwoordigen met een mix voor deze 4CD-compilatie.

2012 is the year Defected embark on A House Music Odyssey, kicking off with our musical tribute to the Miami Winter Music Conference. Every year, thousands of DJs and music-lovers make the annual pilgrimage to Miami, as for one week of the year the city is transformed into a dance music Mecca. And while the sound of some parties and festivals choose to go bigger and louder each year in an effort to make themselves heard, we prefer to go back to where it all started, with a fresh approach to the core values of ‘real’ house music around which the conference was originally built.
